Networking with a personal touch!

Alliance of Professional Women is a non-profit networking organization that connects women personally, professionally, and philanthropically. Personally through the friendships that are made, professionally by referring to our members, and philanthropically through our non-profit arm the Alliance Foundation. For over twenty years, Alliance events have focused on providing a relaxed, fun, friendly atmosphere where long-term relationships and professional referrals are fostered.

We are a group of professional women in the Denver metropolitan area. We are proud of our diverse membership base which represents a broad spectrum of professions such as attorneys, accountants, bankers, life coaches, healthcare professionals, authors and human resource directors. Our members are women who are just starting out in their careers, retirees, small business owners and women who work for some of the largest firms in Denver.

Why We Are Different

Opportunities to develop personal and professional alliances are the core of The Alliance. These alliances create meaningful opportunities for business and social relationships. Many women in The Alliance develop lifelong friendships and support networks with other women of diverse professional backgrounds who share common energies, interests and goals.

Leadership and Personal Development

The Alliance provides members with opportunities for personal and professional growth. Members are exposed to new ideas, experiences and skills through interactions with women from different professions and at different stages in their lives. The Alliance also provides opportunities to develop and hone leadership skills.

Community Activism

“Women helping women” is an important feature of The Alliance. Through fundraising and hands-on volunteer activities, The Alliance encourages volunteerism and mentoring of both members and others in the community. The Alliance works with other community organizations to support women and girls, and help them move toward their goals of becoming productive and self-sufficient citizens.

Educating and Informing

The Alliance sponsors educational programs on issues of interest and presents speakers who inspire and motivate. The Alliance voices members’ views on current issues, collecting and disseminating information about people, events and issues of importance to our members.

Most of these are geared toward the individual, as though responsibility and work are only up to them. Leaders, it is time to consider that transforming imposter syndrome is a two-way street. Leaders also need…

Where are You on the Racism Ladder?

By Rosalie Chamberlain,  Rosalie Chamberlain Consulting & Coaching   Imagine a ladder with the highest rung being blatant racism, the description of which many of us consider to be racism. This is defined as extreme, white supremacy, KKK, lynching, the kind that the Civil Rights Amendment was supposed to eliminate. All too often, we compare…
