Getting the most out of your membership means getting involved. Our Committees are the behind the scenes volunteers who make the APW the amazing networking and philanthropic organization it is. Make friends, get involved, join a committee.

Member Support Committee

The Member Support Committee welcomes new members, hosts new member orientations, creates fun outings and events, and helps new members connect with others in the APW. The committee meets the first Thursday of every month over the lunch hour.

Events Planning Committee

The Event Planning committee creates and hosts unique networking opportunities such as Virtual Speed Networking, Cocktails and Conversations, Theater Hikes, How-To Happy Hours, and Members Mingles. The committee meets on the first Wednesday of every month in the morning.

Luncheon Planning Committee

(formerly the Networking Events Committee)

The Luncheon Planning Committee is responsible for planning our monthly networking luncheons in popular restaurants throughout the city. The committee meets on the first Tuesday of the month at lunchtime.

Outreach Committee

The Outreach Committee is the community service arm of the APW. They provide volunteer opportunities for members that promote the health, welfare, education and employment of underserved women and children in our community. The committee meets the first Wednesday of the month in the evening.

The Public Affairs Committee is dedicated to providing opportunities for members to become politically informed. The committee meets quarterly on the third Wednesday of every month in the morning.
