Upcoming Event for The Alliance of Professional Women

Public Affairs Breakfast Committee Meeting

Wednesday, February 21, 2018 starts at 7:30 am to 9:00 am

Maria Empanada

1298 S Broadway
Denver CO 80210

Our meetings are informal. We meet to eat breakfast and listen to the speaker. We buy our own breakfast and sit at a table with the speaker. Questions for the speaker are welcome and encouraged.

Our Speaker will be Colorado legislator Brittany Pettersen, who will be speaking about the addiction problem in Colorado and legislation she is trying to pass to make it easier for addicts to get treatment.  It is anticipated that we will be discussing other issues related to addiction, such as proposals related to overdose prevention such as injection sites.
