In 2009, she traveled to all 50 United States and Washington DC in one calendar year to find and share stories of ordinary people solving problems in their communities. Her book about her travels, It Takes a Little Crazy to Make a Difference, won the 2015 International Book Award in the Social Change category. Jenet's work has been covered by CBS Sunday Morning, CNN.com, Maya Angelou, Denver Post and others. Her focus areas are suicide prevention, youth in the criminal justice system, education, public health and small business. Jenet also served as the chair of the Cancer Caucus. She lives in Commerce City, Colorado with her husband Michael and is mother to 3 children; her daughter Gavi is a high-school junior studying abroad in France, her son Eytan is a high school sophomore and her son Ryan is a United States Marine. Ms. Jenet will be speaking about the one bill that she wasn't able to pass, regarding suicide prevention. Please join us and bring your enthusiasm and your questions to share.
